These smaller, cast iron cutting heads are the most commonly ordered accessory for both the manual NLF and the automatic NLEH machines.

Made for easy interchange with the standard cutting head, these “smaller” heads differ from the standard heads only in the fact that the two sides actually come to a point at the tip, while the larger heads have an approx. 1/4” flat area at the tip.

The standard “L” heads will accept nose knives from 1/2” – 1”, while the smaller “S” heads accept knives from 1/4” – 13/16”. The small 1/4” and 3/8” knives are very useful when joining small mullion and muntin grids with half-lap joints.
